Who Are We?
Christian Faculty Jobs a unique search engine for Christian Higher Education jobs including positions for Faculty, Adjuncts, Staff, and Executives. Christian Faculty Jobs was originally created because there was a need for an all-encompassing job board for Christian Higher Education institutions including colleges, universities, and seminaries.
Our Core Mission
We strive to provide quality, timely, and comprehensive information to job seekers regarding open Faculty, Staff, and Executive positions from Christian Higher Education institutions. We also equally strive to provide valuable market exposure to open positions on behalf of the Christian Higher Education community.
Value
In an effort to serve Christ Jesus, Christian Faculty Jobs seeks to provide value to both the job seekers and Christian Higher Education insititutions. We have found that in the past, it was a very tedious task to find job openings for Christian Higher Education insititions. There was no central job board, but in essence, if you wanted to find a job, you had to visit every Christian institution's website. We strive to bridge that gap by providing a comprehensive list of major openings in all Christian Higher Education institutions.
Christian Faculty Jobs essentially levels the playing field for smaller Christian universities as well. Since we provide all standard listings for FREE, even the smallest university will benefit by the added market exposure. In the past, only the larger institutions would post jobs to traditional non-Christian sites such as Higher Education Jobs and Chronicle. But with Christian Faculty Jobs, the target job seekers are Christians who are interested in a job with a Christian Higher Education institution.
Communication is Key
We learned from our first attempt that communication to our users is vital. We will post all communications via our blog. This blog is hosted offsite and so in case of any technical problems, you will still be able to hear from us.
Redundant Infrastucture
As we also learned from our first attempt, having redundant infrastructure is important in case of a major technical issue. We now have a redundant search engine that will act as our backup in case our main site goes down. You will be notified of the location of our back up server via our blog.
